Pixel Playground is a initiative intended to provide digital media training program for underprivileged students and deliver production and technical support for local and emerging video artists and filmmakers.
A place where the students and artists play, learn about filmmaking, web design, arts, the meaning of sharing, team working and recycling. A place where video artists and filmmakers can bring their projects for production and post production and share their ideas with the local community and the global internet audience.

Pixel Playground makes arts and direct contact with artists and technology accessible.
At Pixel Playground artists will receive support to produce and distribute their film and video projects.

At Pixel Playground we hope to:
• Create opportunity for both artist and student
• Connect them to future employment opportunities
• Encourage action oriented, youth-led community projects that promote collaboration, leadership development and critical thinking.
• Promote collaborations that employ the arts to address pressing community issues.
• Integrate arts into schools and after-school programs
• Support the outreach efforts of local arts and cultural organizations.
• Educate youth

We operate through donations and the dedication of everyone in this project. Funders can choose to help a student or project directly and all donations are 100% tax deductible. We are sponsored by Fractured Atlas which has been helping thousands of artists for more than fourteen years now.

Fiscal Sponsorship is a financial and legal system by which a legally recognized 501(c)(3) public charity provides limited financial and legal oversight for a project initiated independently by an artist. That “project” might be a one-time project or an independent artist or even an arts organization that does not have its own 501(c)(3) status. Once sponsored in this way, the project is eligible to solicit and receive grants and tax-deductible contributions that are normally available only to 501(c)(3) organizations.

We also offer film and video production and post-production services at lo-budget  and non-profit rates on a case-by-case project.
We are constantly seeking fund through donations, grants and in-kind services.
And we will be selling recycled tote bags, t-shirts and stickers online very soon!
